Welcome to the Southeast branch of Help for Children!
Help for Children Southeast was founded in 2004 by James (Jay) Martin. The co-chairs of the Southeast Committee of Hearts are Michael Cross of KPMG and Ted Griffith of Old Ivy Capital Partners. The funds that have been raised through the support of the Southeast hedge fund community over the years have enabled the Southeast branch to provide support for innovative community-based nonprofits that serve abused and neglected children in metro Atlanta.
On November 12, 2015, the HFC Southeast Committee of Hearts will present the Annual Open Your Heart to the Children Benefit at the famous Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta, GA. Last year's Benefit was a resounding success, raising over $150,000 for the prevention and treatment of child abuse.
To date, HFC Southeast has distributed over $519,500 through 33 grants. With the continued generous support of the local hedge fund community, we look forward to continuing to raise funds that will aid our community partners in the fight against child abuse and neglect.
